The rooms were comfortable and immaculately clean, providing a perfect sanctuary after a day of exploration. The hotel's attention to sustainable practices, such as avoiding motorized groundskeeping equipment during guest hours, impressed me as an ecologist. The complimentary breakfast showcased local flavors, adding to the sense of authenticity. Facilities like the outdoor swimming pool and the Bamboo room with live music provided moments of relaxation and entertainment. However, some guests might find the lack of amenities like a gym or spa notable.In terms of value versus luxury, Alma strikes a good balance. The rates reflect the service and amenities offered, creating a sense of exclusivity without breaking the bank. For an authentic and eco-conscious stay in Costa Rica, Alma is a wise choice for travelers seeking both comfort and conservation efforts.
